Although over 200 million people use homeopathy on a daily basis, little is known about homeopathy my most people.

Here are 10 cool facts about homeopathy...

#1 Three major meta-analyses in high impact medical journals, (Lancet, BMJ, NHS) all found that HOMEOPATHY IS NOT PLACEBO.

#2 The deadly flu epidemic of 1918, the “Great White Plague that killed millions worldwide and half a million in the US alone saw a death rate of only 1.05% with homeopathy and 30% with allopathy.

#3 Homeopathy is the second most used medicine in the world and is successfully integrated into Indian and many European medical systems.

#4 In the European cholera epidemic of 1831-1832, homeopathic hospitals had 7 to 10 percent mortality rates, whereas conventional physicians saw rates of 40 to 80 percent. As a result, a law forbidding the practice of homeopathy in Austria was dropped.

#5 In the US, the study of homeopathy was still required in medical schools until 1940s.

#6 In a diptheria epidemic among children in Bloome, County New York in 1862 to 1864 there was a mortality rate of 84% for those who received conventional medicine, and 16% mortality rate for patients given homeopathy.

#7 In the US 18-1900’s was the world leader in homeopathy. Some of the first medical schools started of as homeopathic schools including New York Medical College, Boston University School of Medicine, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and the highly respected Hahnemann Medical School in Philadelphia named after founder of homeopathy Samuel Hahnemann, MD.

#8 During the 1850’s yellow fever epidemic in southern US, homeopaths reported mortality rate of 6 to 7 percent, and allopaths reported a rate of 15-85 percent.

#9 In the early 1900’s homeopathy had official status with US armed forces as it was equipped with a homeopathic medical corps.

#10 “Over the past two centuries, homeopaths have confronted nearly every imaginable disease in almost every possible context. They have treated infants, children, adults, and the elderly; those with chronic disease and those with acute disease; the mentally ill; birthing women, and animals.”
